To say that John was a very special person does not even compare how many people that he touched. I worked with John at Solid Gospel and he was more like a brother to me than a co-worker. He had the ability to always make everyone smile and feel truly “at home” whenever you were around him. His love for Christ truly shined through him. He had the ability to always make everyone smile and feel truly “at home” whenever you were around him. His love for Christ truly shined through him. My deepest condolences to his family and I know he will be greatly missed. There is some comfort in knowing that John, our Brother in Christ is in Heaven and we shall see him again one day.

I worked with John at WMIK in Middlesboro, KY. John was such a fun guy. I am sorry I am only finding out today about his going to be with the Lord. I am glad he is enjoying the Heaven he was able to play on the radio and on Bro. Mull's program.

Rarely does a day pass that I either do something or say something that makes me think of John. Without a doubt, the most fun I've ever had in my 24 years in the radio business was when John and I worked together at Solid Gospel in Nashville. I could tell "John stories" for hours! My love and prayers remain with John's family.

John was a good friend to all of us in the Melody Boys Quartet and I'll miss his talent and friendship.

I was terribly saddened to hear about John's passing. He and I worked together in the Music Industry for a while many years ago. He was always such a wonderful gentleman who had an infectious personality. I know we all will miss John "Soupy" Campbell but heaven will be much sweeter knowing he is there. I will always treasure my time spent with John and will forever be a better person because of him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
